    The Tender Distribution Service: Impact at a Glance is one of a series of studies that provide an assessment of the Peace Dividend Marketplace’s impact, focusing on job creation and reinvestment. The report highlights the findings of interviews with 15 businesses that delivered 26 of the highest valued contracts facilitated by PDT's tender distribution service.     The Nine District Micro Matchmaking Impact Assessment is one of a series of studies that provide an in-depth assessment of the Peace Dividend Marketplace’s impact, focusing on job creation and reinvestment. The report highlights the findings of 573 interviews with district-based suppliers who benefited from PDT's micro matchmaking service. The matchmaking program operated across nine districts in Timor-Leste, and facilitated over $8.6m into the local economy.(Tetun)

    The Lautem Micro Matchmaking Impact Assessment is one of a series of studies that aim to garner a more in-depth assessment of the Peace Dividend Marketplace’s impact, focusing on job creation and reinvestment. The report highlights the findings of 190 interviews with Lautem based suppliers who have benefited from the micro matchmaking service. The matchmaking program in Lautem operated from March 2008 to July 2010, facilitating almost $640,000 into the local economy. (Tetun)

    The Baucau Micro Matchmaking Impact Assessment is the first report in a series of impact assessment studies to garner a more in-depth analysis project’s impact, focusing on job creation and reinvestment. The report highlights the findings of 73 interviews with Baucau based suppliers who have benefited from the micro matchmaking service. The matchmaking program in Baucau operated from February 2008 to September 2010, facilitating almost $1.45 million into the local economy.(Tetun)

  • Timor-Leste Business Community Overview

    Here you will find two reports on the private sector in Timor-Leste. The first provides a general overview of the local business community and the second focuses on the national employment landscape. The data collection for these two reports occurred between 1 November 2007 and 23 November 2009. Over this period a total of 2,459 businesses were surveyed.
